在雅思大作文常考的话题中，犯罪类话题是比较难的话题之一，主要在于首先大家对犯罪类本身不熟悉，对常考的犯罪类话题毫无头绪；其次，犯罪类话题所设计的话题词汇不熟悉；最后，对犯罪类话题常用论点在平时学习中积累的少时又少。那么今天我们来共同探讨犯罪类话题的常考题型，常用表达以及该话题负面结果的论证。
犯罪类常考话题有哪些呢，我们给大家进行了一个近年来考试频率的一个总结，大家可以进行参考。
1) 犯罪的细节报道与否？/控制暴力情节？(2016-10-22/2017-05-20/2020-01-04/2020-10-24)

这六类话题总结应该让大家对犯罪类话题有了一个认知和了解，但是很多同学还是会觉得在写这类话题时不知如何下笔，特别是在论证的时候不知道如何论证清楚。接下来我们通过一个小例子来讲述犯罪类话题负面结果的论证的方式以及句子的表达方式。
例1:The government should control the amount of violence in films and on television in order to decrease the level of violent crime in society.To what extent do you agree or disagree?(2017-05-20)
我们讲到的观点是：同意控制电视和电影中的暴力内容（也就是接触过多的暴力电影和电视节目的坏处）
首先我们知道接触过多的暴力电影和节目会对于青少年的影响是很大的，并且可能会模仿犯罪内容（具体的个人行为），最后导致社会中更多的暴力和犯罪（抽象的社会结果）
很多同学对这一逻辑链的表达是：Youngsters are exposed to excessive violent movies and TV programs, and they may imitate the behaviors, so there would be more violence and crimes. 这句话的表达在逻辑上是没有问题的，但是在语言表达上来说是简单句+简单句的形式，在6分GRA的评分标准上是要求“use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms” 并且在7分GRA的评分标准上是要求“use a variety of complex structures”
因此，我们可以把以上的句型使用if条件状语从句以及v-ing 伴随状语形式进行改写，让句型更符合复杂结构的标准。
If teenagers are exposed to excessive violent movies and TV programs，they may imitate the behaviors in the movies, leading to more violence and crimes.
这里的lead to导致还可以同意替换成give rise to, contribute to, result in等。
按照上述方式，我们来运用练习一下。我们来看下面这个题：
例2:Some people think that if a police force carries a gun, it can lead to a higher level of crime in that society.To what extent do you agree or disagree?(2011-08-20/2014-06-07)
我们讲到的观点是：同意警察带枪
警察带枪会让犯罪者升级自己的武器来保护自己（具体的个人行为），最后导致社会中暴力的升级（抽象的社会结果）
按照上述表达方式，我们同样可以使用if条件状语从句以及v-ing 伴随状语形式：
If the police are equipped with guns, the potential criminals tend to strengthen their own equipment to protect themselves, leading to escalated violence.
上述论证表述提及到了一个论点在论证时候会使用的因果链接的论证方法，首先得到一个具体的个人行为再导致抽象的社会结果。这里也给大家补充一些具体个人行为结果和抽象的社会结果以供参考。
Ø 具体个人行为结果：
容易被误导 be misguided easily
模仿 imitate
一时冲动犯罪 commit crime on impulse
升级武器 strengthen one's own equipment
误入歧途 go astray
侵犯隐私 invade one's privacy
报复社会take revenge on society
Ø 抽象的社会结果：
