Which do you prefer, work in a small company or organization with only a few people or wok in a large company with many employees?

Well, I’d say working in a large company with more employees works better for me. For starters, larger company has stronger, sturdier cash flow, which means this business can stay strong for longer time on the market than that of a smaller one. This cash flow helps to provide full package of staff welfare such as pension plan, medical care and travel expenses. Second, I love to meet new people. Working inside a large company like Nokia or Facebook gives me the chance know people cross departments, and a broad social circle is always good, good for mentality as well as future career.

Your city owns a large piece of vacant land in the city center and wants to do something useful with it. Some people want to rent it to a company that will create job opportunities for local residents. Other people prefer to use the land to create a large park and community garden. Which option do you think would be best?

I think turning this vacant land into a park and community garden is a far better option. Local citizens have already been living in a concrete jungle, they need a central park to chill, to have some weekend getaway fun. For example, I used to go to the city park downtown to have picnics and outdoor barbecue with friends. At the park, there were also guys walking dogs, kids playing Frisbee, it was the such a  harmonious scene to watch. Moreover, a park serves as a gigantic air purifier in the city. Cities are packed with cars these days, just imagine the amount of sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide they emit in one single day, a park can at least help to ease the problem.

You are the members of two clubs in your school, but you have to quit one because this semester you have a lot of schoolwork to do. Which one do you prefer to quit? And why?

1. hiking club

2. speech and debate club

If I am to choose between the two, the hiking club would continue to stay on my list,  while the speech and debate club will be crossed off. Well, I guess what matters to me the most would be the fact that I need to unwind my self from the seemingly never-ending papers, quizzes and exams and such. Doing sports like hiking helps to bring my study nerves down. Survey suggests that college students can get pretty stressed out without decent amount of exercise. The urge to lose weight through working-out might be the other reason to stay in the hiking club. I really need to lose a few pounds to fit into those skin-tight jeans and crop tops that I purchased recently.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should learn how to be independent at an early age.

Personally speaking, I believe that kids do need to learn how to be independent at an early age. Because they gotta grow up and turn into adults someday, it seems reasonable for young kids to prepare for themselves while there’s plenty of time. For example, while I was a innocent 8-year-old girl in primary school, my mom was letting me organize my backpack every night at home, so that it wouldn’t be in a mess like what normally would happen to most of the other children’s backpacks at that time. Being able to do this on my own, I was granted with some other rights such as to go to and leave school without my parents’ watch. That’s how I turned out to be quite an independent person today.
