我们都知道，托福口语每道题原始满分为4分，而要想拿到这四分你需要做到以下四点：1，使用英语回答2，自然的语音语速语调3，准确无误的词汇句型语法4，答案完整流畅有逻辑。

用厨师做菜来比喻，点相当于要求你用正常的粮食蔬菜而不是石头泥土；第二点属于考察“童子功”——只切过5个土豆的菜鸟和切过5万个土豆的厨师单凭刀落在案板上的声音就能被分辨出来；第三点等于要求作为厨师的你，必须选用合理的食材，搭配正确的调味料，让你的菜品色香味俱佳。少了食材量（词汇）缺了各色菜品搭配（句型）乱放调味料（语法）就注定满足不了ETS评分人的胃口。可就算一道菜满足了他们的胃口，也不见得会让他们吃得开心，因为最后一个要求，等于要你提供的大餐不仅从开胃小菜到收尾甜点一应俱全，而且只凭行云流水的浅尝便能使品尝得人回忆起家乡的味道（like a native speaker）。

因为很多同学在平时中文的表达中不在意衔接词和表达情感的插入语，甚至有人讲述一件事情，除了用“因为…所以”“虽然…但是”之外，就是不停的用“然后”衔接，于是乎，他在使用第二语言时也不会用到除了这些词之外的衔接方式。

因此，在这里我打算跟大家分享一些托福口语高分短语，来提高我们口语回答的逻辑性和流畅性，以便满足ETS评分人的要求。

首先让我来看一道口语题

题目：If you could have a job, what would it be and why?

答案一：I really want to be a doctor. Because, en…a doctor is respected by many people, and he or she can affect the lives of 

many people. And…a doctor sees different patients and make life-altering decisions every day, so, you never feel boring. And, a doctor remains 

challenged and motivated, because he or she must keep learning new things.

And… a physician  makes a lot of money,so, I  would be a doctor if I could 

have a  job.

将语音语调节奏等“先天”因素排除在外后，我们可以看到，答案一基本符合托福口语题的要求，有分层次的围绕主题展开回答，有原因解释也有细节补充，语法词汇也没有问题，但是，无论如何它也不可能成为ETS评分人手下的满分答案。那么满分答案究竟是什么样的呢？

我们再来看答案二：

Let me think. That’s a good question. If I could have any job, I think I’d enjoy being a doctor.

 As far as Im concerned, a doctor certainly is not only respected but also

 able to positively affect the lives of many people.

 Every day, a doctor sees different patients and must make life-altering 

decisions. On the whole, the job is never routine or boring, for not two

  patients are alike. 

Furthermore, a doctor must keep learning new things. In spite of the

 demands , a doctor remains challenged  as well as motivated. What’

s more, a physician makes a lot of money, compensation for the many 

years of study and grueling hours. Unqustionably, Id be a doctor if I 

could choose any job.

聪明的你发现什么不同了么？与答案一相比，答案二中有表示犹豫的被我称之为“口水句”的短句：“Let me think”“That’s a good question”有虚拟语气“If I could…I would…”有表示强调的插入语“Certainly”有表示递进关系的衔接词“not only…but also…”等等（详见高亮标注）。所以，我们可以得出一个结论：高能高效的逻辑衔接词以及见缝插针的插入语和“口水句”不仅能够让我们的回答条理清晰，还能减少思造成的停顿，最终使得答案流畅自然，更加贴近Native speaker的回答。众所周知，插入语通常由一个词、一个短语或一个句子构成,在句子中的位置比较灵活，很容易掌握用法，而且，因为插入语在句中的作用,主要用来表示说话人对某事物的看法、态度和推测,与句子的其它成分一般没有语法上的关系，所以，只要弄清楚你需要对语句进行进一步的解释说明或总结,还是要引起对方的注意和思考，就不太可能用错。以下是我总结的10种常用逻辑衔接和插入语短语，大家可以在平时的练习中尝试加入到回答中去。
