在part 1 中关于jewelry的问题有：

人们为什么喜欢佩戴珠宝？

4.What sorts of jewelry are the most common to see in China?

 什么类型的珠宝在中国比较常见？

解题思路：

第1-2题，给出simple answer，在回答完yes/no之后，做出简单解释。

例如题1：

Actually I never wear jewelry, for the reason that in our traditional idea, men are not likely to have accessories like jewelry.  Instead, we prefer to wear watches.

第3-4题，难度升级，涉及到关于珠宝的词汇。回答步骤是：1.先给出opinion;2.添加相应的explanation。

例如题3：谈佩戴珠宝是为了搭配衣服、彰显社会地位。

示范一：

Probably to match clothes, especially on some formal occasions.  Wearing jewelry enables people to be prominent, or else, it also shows their respect to others since they put much stress on their own appearance.  Besides, suitable jewelry will make our clothes look more decent.

示范二：

I guess they want to show their social status.  As we know, most jewelries are expensive than other accessories. Therefore, not everyone has the ability to afford jewelry.  In order to show that they are in the upper class while still keep a low profile, people tend to wear jewelry rather than purchasing designer brand clothes.

钻石 diamond

珍珠 pearl

玉 jade

翡翠 jadeite

蓝宝石 sapphire

红宝石 ruby

可以这样作答：在中国最喜欢佩戴的是玉器（jade），我们觉得玉可以辟邪镇灾。

We believe that jade has the ability to keep down demons, protect from disasters and bring the safety.
