本月托福口语官考的独立题中，7月6日和7日的口语考题完全重复，看来ETS完全不按常理出牌，但题目总体的难度不高，部分题目还是近年真题中的重复老题。比如：

7月6日和7日Task1-Which of the following space do you think your university should build near students’ dormitory the most? A. a café; B. a game room; C. a study room，重复了2017年5月6日的task1, 属于三选一的题型。解答这道题的方法就是考虑这些场所对学生的用途，引申到优点。

7月6日和7日的task2-Do you agree or disagree that students’ professor should make the decision for students when choosing courses?重复了2018年7月1日的task2. 这道题目一般考生都会选择disagree，因为更为符合学生的价值观。答题时可以借用我们Alone/ group相关问题的语料，自己做决定可以develop independence，同时可以make most suitable decision。但是我们这道题选择agree也是可以论述的，可以把握住professor is more experienced以及students may make mistake such as impulsive decisions。

7月13日的Task1-Your classmate wants to buy a car and drive to school instead of riding bike, but he needs to do part time job to earn money for that. What suggestions will you give him? 这道题属于建议类题，同时也属于我们典型的兼职工作问题，由于大多数学生对此话题都有相关的经历或见闻，答这个题正面反面都较为简单，而且展开论述不会涉及到学生不熟悉的词汇。

7月13日的Task2-Some people prefer to do easy things first, others prefer to start from the hardest, which do you prefer, explain why. 这道题目属于生活类，让我们选择一个做事习惯，题目论述比较宽泛和概括，所以学生在答题时可以举具体的例子，比如学习或工作，或者处理人际关系。

7月28日的Task1-More and more people tend to post their personal information online. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?

越来越多的人倾向于把个人信息公布在网上，这样做有什么好处和坏处？

7月28日的Task2-Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Celebrities are more competent to do charity because they are rich and powerful.你是否同意：Celebrity更有能力做慈善，因为他们有钱又有能力。

总体来说，2019年7月的题目比较平稳，都是之前经常考的类型，考生如果做过2018-2019年的真题，认真总结过相似题型的语料素材和答题思路，是不会出现说不出口的情况的。

TASK 1

Which of the following space do you think your university should build near students’ dormitory the most?

A. a café;

B. a game room;

C. a study room

I would suggest school to build a café near the dorm.

First of all, it will be helpful to release students’ pressure. University students have lots of classes, assignments, projects, which make many of them very stressful. As for me, if I can chill in the café, have some coffee after all day busy schedule, I will have a better mood. Additionally, it’s a perfect place to socialize, which means we can catch up with friends in this place, talking about daily interesting affairs, exchanging ideas. People can really loosen up in this environment, you know, listening gentle music, enjoying aroma of coffee. So our relationship may naturally get closer.

TASK 2

Do you agree or disagree that students’ professor should make the decision for students when choosing courses?

From my perspective, I think students should make their own decision about courses. First of all, they know themselves best, so they can easily make most suitable choice. As for me, when I chose my optional courses, instead of following my professor’s suggestion to study math, I found my true interest in history, and I’m so glad about this result. Secondly, students need to be responsible for themselves, and truly be independent about their own matter. If they rely too much on teachers or parents, they may end up being too needy, which is not good for their future, considering we will all stand on our own one day. So it’s better to accumulate some experience now in order to handle major decision later, such as major or career.

TASK 1

Your classmate wants to buy a car and drive to school instead of riding bike, but he needs to do part time job to earn money for that. What suggestions will you give him?

First of all, considering that he is still a students, I will suggest him to balance study and work well, which means he shouldn’t let this job affect his grades. It would be better if he can negotiate with his boss in advance about his work hours, so that he won’t miss any class because of his work. Secondly, I would recommend him to be careful about selecting jobs. Nowadays, many untrue advertisements look appealing but actually aim at cheating. For example, some companies charge their applicants fee for registration, which is totally a scam, students without self-protection ability can easily lose their money.

TASK 2

From my perspective, starting from easiest is better. On one hand, it can keep my interest, which means I won’t feel defeated or unconfident because of getting stuck from the beginning. Take learning math as an example, my math teacher always gave us some simple and solvable tasks during first few weeks of high school, so that we all gained confidence about math. In this way, even though later we failed in solving some tough questions, we still were positive. On the other hand, it can help me get things done as soon as possible. For example, I always start from tidying my room if I wanna clean the whole house, because if I always think about the big amount of effort for the entire place, I will never make up my mind to begin.

TASK1

More and more people tend to post their personal information online. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?

One of the advantages of doing this is helping us socialize. In other words, we can make new friends and get closer to our old friends. For instance, I would like to post pictures of having dinner in amazing restaurant or my own watercolor painting on social media. So that my friends get to know what I’m up to recently, and also I can attract like-minded people.

However, the shortcoming is obvious. As our personal life is exposed to others, there is higher chance that we will show some private information without even awareness.

When someone post his/her home pictures with location, almost the whole world will know where he/she live, which is pretty dangerous sometimes if it comes to single lady who lives alone.

TASK 2

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Celebrities are more competent to do charity because they are rich and powerful.

From my perspective, I totally agree with this statement. First of all, almost every charity program needs financial support. And compared to ordinary people who works hard for fixed salary, celebrity earn larger amount of money with less effort. So maybe they can offer the amount to build a school for underprivileged kids, while general workers have less ability to do that.

In addition, they have a lot of fans who admire them and may imitate their behaviors and attitude. If celebrity can support some charity programs publicly, they will actually encourage a large group of people to do the same thing. In this way, the program will have better effect and those in trouble will get better help.
