教育类话题，也是今年最常见的三选一类题型，最近独立题的选项趋向于具体化，同学们可能觉得太专业，距离自己的生活比较遥远，但这题和经典的选课类话题其实很像，个选项可以看做是气象学，第二个选项可以看做是海洋学，第三个选项可以看做是天文学。不管哪个选项都可以用到一些理由，比如interest, practical, useful等。但是也可以联系到自己的亲身经历，比如选项一可以联系到由于不准确的天气预报而schedule被打乱的例子，或者迟到的例子；选项二可以讲到drinking water, sea food 的例子；选项三可以讲到人口拥挤、大气污染的例子。

比较经典的 preference 类的Task 2题型，而且又是跟艺术相关的话题。如果选择表演的话，可以说到让自己变得更加自信，因为要speak in front of a large audience，还可以说到能够让自己更好地理解文学作品，因为要recite the lines。如果说到观看表演的话，可以用到一些理由，比如release the pressure.

Personally speaking, I prefer participating in the performance instead of just being an audience because I can become more confident since I need to speak in front a large audience. For example, last month I played a role in a skit on a party, you know, I needed to recite a long monologue in front of two hundred people. 公共政策类话题，Task 1这一题和2017年2月28日的Task 1非常类似，是今年非常高频的三选一的题型。如果选择land exploration可以联系到移民和房价这样的现实问题，也可以讲到开发土地来建city park, amusement park,灵活串起各个考题；如果选择education可以联系到活动与经历类话题中的举例之teaching in resource poor areas；如果选择health care，可以联系到看病贵的问题，也可以联系到医疗设备的问题。

科技类话题最近是高频考题，也是比较好回答的话题，我们有一些理由可以用到，比如convenient, cheap等。如果是同意的话，我们可以正面回答电子书的好处，light, portable等，还可以回答electronic databases对于写论文的好处；如果是不同意的话，我们可以谈到图书馆的好处，TPO 45 Task 3里面讲到图书馆对于学生来说是一个很好的自习的地方，可以灵活运用，还可以谈到city library的功能，不仅是一个看书的场所，还是一个可供休息的公共场所。

I think libraries will never disappear. Though students can stay at the dorm to search for information with the help of Internet when they are writing papers, ordinaries citizens haven’t got the access to many databases because they usually charge very high, so the citizens still need to go to the city library if they want to search for some academic materials. 三种素质哪个更重要: outgoing/ well-organized/ creative and imaginative?

考题解析：

2015年之后，人物类话题考得比较少，但是人物性格特征类的话题还是比较高频的考题。本题也是比较常见的人物性格三选一的题目，选择哪一个并不重要，能联系到自己的亲身经历即可。Outgoing意味着sociable, make friends; well-organized 意味着 schedule, 可以更有效率地完成工作和学习任务；creative and imaginative 对于学生来说能够更好完成assignments, 更容易让他们的观点脱颖而出。

Sample:

I think outgoing is the most important because it’s easier for an outgoing person to make new friends and adapt to the new environment. Next year, I would go to America for further study, you know, America is a totally different country from China, and I will meet a lot of new people with different cultural backgrounds. So, in order to make friends with those people, I need to be outgoing and step out of my comfort zone. Task 2

考题解析：

公共政策类话题，本题虽然比较Americanized，和中国人的生活比较脱节，但是同学们还是可以联系到自己作为学生的经历。比如吃垃圾食品比较便宜，affordable，并且偶尔吃垃圾食品能够给人快乐，而健康食物比如有机食品、水果比较贵，导致生活成本太高。如果说支持的话，可以运用到理由，keep healthy, resistant to illness。
