本期Notes：【写课程论文的步骤】

Steps of writing a term paper:

1、Firstly, you should propose a paper topic.

2、Secondly, begin doing research by finding numerous resources.

例如：journal articles, academic databases

3、Thirdly，write a solid outline.

提纲内容包括：thesis, main points, preliminary bibliography

4、Fourth, write your paper.

完整的论文包括： abstract, introduction, body paragraphs, conclusion, reference

 

【写课程论文应注意的问题】Problems concerning term paper:

1、Narrow down the topic.

2、Find enough sources, but not too overwhelming.

3、Stick to the topic, no tangential material, be logical and straightforward, use correct citation format.

4、Ask for a paper extension.

5、Ask for a higher grade: rewriting, extra-credit assignment.
