Do you agree or disagree with the following statement？Improving schools is the most important factor for the successful development of a country.

Obviously, there are plenty of aspects influencing the development of a country, among which education seems to be one of the most oft-cited. As a result, some people assert that improving schools is the most significant factor for the successful development of a country. From my point of view, the improvement of education is definitely beneficial to any country. However, some other fields are equally indispensable to the education system.

There is no denying that improving schools matters a lot. All countries consist of people from all walks of life, which means that the development of a country will be affected by many complex factors. Education, in the meantime, has a great impact on people in many ways. For these reasons, the better a country’s schools are, the more chance the population has to develop their talent. When educated people graduate from well-run schools and work effectively at what they do best, the country is bound to make enormous progress, which can lead to rapid development. In a word, a country can indeed benefit a lot from improving the education of its citizens.

In addition to improving schools, it is also imperative to promote economic activity. Actually, the purpose of development in any country is to improve the quality of life, which depends substantially on the condition of economy. Respectively, any country that intends to develop usually manages to embrace the opportunity for economic growth, since it is related to almost every aspect of a country. For example, a prosperous economy brings more job opportunities to citizens. With decreasing unemployment and increasing consumption, societies tend to become more dynamic. Also, a better economy means more taxes which the government can use to improve infrastructure such as public transportation and access to high quality health care. 

Furthermore, the arts play an essential role in the development of a country as well. Throughout history, brilliant art has been the mark of many great civilizations. The progress of things, like entertainment, visual artistic achievements, and music, represents the significance of the soft power of a country. Not only will this enhance national cohesion, but it also strengthens international influence. Consequently, benefits brought by the prosperity of people’s creative output are conducive to the development of a country.

To sum up, besides improving schools, boosting the economy and improving artistic production are also important factors for the successful development of a country.
