Children's education has always been an enduring topic. Some people think that children are immature and can't arrange what they need to do every day, so it is up to the school or parents to plan the content of their daily studies or extracurricular activities. However, recently there have been some arguments that even young children should have the freedom to plan their lives. I have to say that I think this view is more advanced and gives children enough respect.

First, children have social activities other than school and family. Despite their young age, children have also formed their own hobbies and guidelines for making friends in previous activities; they also have their views on how to arrange their own time. Even though homework and sports are important, it is also crucial to leave enough time and space for children to explore their own hobbies. In this process, they can not only cultivate their own hobbies, but also form stronger relationships because they have made like-minded friends. For example, if children like to collect rocks or observe stars, they can make friends through these activities and enjoy themselves without being interfered by adults.

Secondly, this not only gives children the freedom to cultivate their own hobbies, but they also exercise their sense of responsibility. If they spend too much time playing, their school performance will decline. Transcripts will teach them that if they can't balance their learning and playing, bad consequences will ensue. Instead of letting them realize the disadvantages of lack of self-discipline as adults, it is better for them to learn this lesson early in their childhood.

It is true that children may not be mature enough to arrange their daily activities perfectly, but the supervision of parents and schools can solve this problem. Giving children more autonomy does not mean letting go. When a child's behavior is derailed, parents and schools can extend a helping hand in time to help him learn and grow better.

In summary, even young children should have a certain degree of freedom to decide their daily lives.
