一、当 “tidy” 作形容词（表示 “整洁的、整齐的”）时：
My mom always keeps the kitchen tidy.（我妈妈总把厨房保持得很整洁。）
Your hair looks tidy today—did you comb it carefully?（你今天头发很整齐，是认真梳了吗？）
The books on the shelf are tidy, not messy at all.（书架上的书很整齐，一点不乱。）
二、当 “tidy” 作动词（表示 “整理、收拾”）时：
Can you tidy your schoolbag before going to bed?（睡前能把书包收拾好吗？）
Let’s tidy up the sofa—there are too many cushions on it.（咱们把沙发整理一下吧，上面的靠垫太多了。）
He tidied his desk after finishing homework, putting pens and notebooks away.（他写完作业后整理了书桌，把笔和笔记本都收好了。）
