“How you felt about it”?

Part2:Describe a beautiful city you visited.

而后,提示卡最后一问问道:how you felt about this city,你的思路该如何整理?

我们可以尝试使用低频词,提高lexical resource的得分,如:look forward to doing / in expectation of doing / eager for doing

see

multi-colored water

clear azure sky

sparkling and rippling water

hear

birds’ chirp in the trees

chit-chat

smell

fragrance of blooming flowers

fresh air

gain the sense of satisfaction/ fulfillment/ delightful, have a blast, on the cloud nine

coastal city

collect shells

walk along the seashore

enjoy the sunbathing

mountainous

area

cock-climbing

go camping

see the sunrise/sunset

ancient town

go boating

sample the nightlife

try local cuisine

让生活充满乐趣 infuse our lives with joy

让生活活跃了起来 make everything around us come to life

Before the trip, I was+feeling 1 for the reason that +reasons (sceneries).

During the tour I gradually gain the sense of  +feeling 2 mainly because + reasons (activities).

When I finished the whole journey,I felt totally and utterly+feeling 3.

Describe a time when you were scared.

Halloween party

be afraid of , have a fear of 害怕

flurried, hurry-scurry 慌张的

nervous, strained, tense, uptight, stressed, off the mood 紧张的

get cold feet 临阵退缩

to be on tenterhooks, be restless whether sitting or standing, sit on thorns

(heart) leaps up, get one's heart pumping

exclaim in astonishment 惊叫起来

leap up, jump to one's feet, spring to one's feet 跳起来

be scared to death

be scared silly, be horror-stricken, be panic-stricken

lose one’s tongue, can’t utter a word, words fail somebody

pass out 昏倒
