今天杨依老师会把Part1关于handwriting的4个题目都给大家讲解一遍，各位烤鸭们往下看吧~

Do you prefer handwriting or typing? 

【老师点拨】

很多同学都会说：" I prefer typing because it’s convenient." 这其实是不合格的。

雅思口语考试中首先要会paraphrase（同义替换），不能考官问prefer，你就答prefer，这样显得词汇量少。其次词汇要准确，不能只说convenient，要说是如何convenient的。

【思路拓展】

电脑有automatic correction（自动校正功能），可以避免spelling mistakes（拼写错误），写错以直接delete（删除）。但手写就要用eraser（橡皮），correction fluid（修正液），甚至rewrite completely（全部重写）。

Do you think handwriting is very important nowadays? 

【思路扩展】

尽管打字越来越普及，但很多场合我们仍需手写。比如sign our names（签字），take exams（考试），字写得好会留下好印象。

另外，calligraphy（书法）是cultural heritage from ancestors（祖先留下的文化遗产），我们应该preserve it well and pass it down to next generations（把它保护好并传给后人）。

Do you think computers would replace handwriting someday? 

【老师点拨】

这题的本质在于，要想想手写是不是比打字有优势，只要它有，就不会被替代。我们可以想想在哪些时候手写是更好的选择，比如情书、感谢信、邀请函。

【思路扩展】

我们spend more time writing a letter（花费更多时间写一封信），所以对方更能感受到我们的sincerity（诚意）。答这个题也要注意同义替换，replace可以换成substitute，或者说handwriting不会消失（disappear / vanish）。

How does a person’s handwriting impress on others?

【思路扩展】

我们常说A person’s handwriting can reflect his / her personality（见字如见人）。

具体来说，假如有人字很潦草，那他more likely to be quick-tempered（很有可能是个急性子）。假如有人字很凌乱，有很多涂改，说明他动笔之前没有想好写什么，也就是unorganized（没有计划性）。
