C10-T2-S3 Q26: Which do the speakers agree was the main reason for Heyerdahl’s raft journey?
C11-T2-S3 Q21: What do the speakers agree should be included in their aims?
C12-T5-S3 Q22: They agree that one disadvantage of the free digitalised books is that
C12-T6-S3 Q24: They agree that Jame’s literature paper this term will be on
C12-T7-S3 Q27: Natalie and Dave agree that one reason why so few people visit Holton Castle is
C12-T7-S3 Q28: Natalie and Dave agree that the greatest problem with the visitor centre could be
C13-T1-S3 Q22: Jack and Emma agree the main advantage of their present experiment is that
C13-T1-S3 Q24: They agree that Graves’ book on seed germination is disappointing because
C13-T2-S3 Q22: Russ and his tutor agree that his approach in the presentation will be
C13-T2-S3 Q24: They both agree that the best way for Russ to start presentation is
C13-T4-S3 Q23: When discussing supermarket brands of pizza, Jack agree with Alice that
C14-T1-S3 Q25: What do they agree should be the priority for international action?
C14-T4-S3 Q24: Trevor and Stephanie agree that comics
C10-T2-S3.Q26:
O:Well, I think it was more a matter of simply trying out his idea, to see if migration from the east was possible.
V:Yes, that’s probably it.
C11-T2-S3.Q21:
C:But we need something about what causes different organisms to choose particular habitats.
H:I agree.
C12-T5-S3.Q22:
S:So you won’t find the latest best-seller or up-to-date information.
T:That’s an important point.
C12-T6-S3.Q24:
B:You might find modern novels or 19th century playwrights interesting.
J:I’ve read or seen several plays in translation, so that would be a good idea.
C12-T7-S3.Q27:
D:And I think there’s plenty of fascinating stuff there for a really good day out, but you’d never realise it from the castle website-maybe that’s the problem.
N:Yes, it’s really dry and boring.
C12-T7-S3.Q28:
N:And as it’s on a historical site it’d need to get special planning permission I expect. That might be hard.
D:Right, especially...
C13-T1-S3.Q22:
J:That should be fine if we start now. A lot of the other possible experiments need quite a bit longer.
E:So that’d make it a good one to choose.
C13-T1-S3.Q24:
E:I found it quite hard to follow-lots about the theory, which I hadn’t expected.
J:Yes,I’d been hoping for something more practical.
C13-T2-S3.Q22:
T:Or another way would be to focus on its impact in one particular area, say medicine, or space exploration.
R:That would make it easier to focus. Perhaps I should do that.
C13-T2-S3.Q24:
R:So, maybe I should mention a particular way that nanotechnology is used, to focus people’s attention.
T:That sounds sensible.
C14-T1-S3.Q24:
C:I mean, they’ve got to start acting together at an international level instead of just doing their own thing.
R:Absolutely.
C14-T4-S3.Q24:
S: So, I think comics can serve a really useful purpose.
T:You mean, it’s better to read a comic than not to read at all? Yes, I suppose you’re right.
C13-T2-S3.Q22:
Russ and his tutor agree that his approach in the presentation will be
A. To concentrate on how nanotechnology is used in one field.
B. To follow the chronological development of nanotechnology.
C. To show the range of applications of nanotechnology.
Tutor: OK, now, one way of approaching this is to work through developments in chronological order.(导师提的个意见,根据原词chronological可判断是B选项)
Russ: Uh-huh.(没有正面肯定的反馈,可以得知B选项为错误干扰选项)
Tutor: On the other hand, you could talk about the numerous ways that nanotechnology is being applied.(numerous way对应range, applied对应applications;进而可以判断导师提出第二个意见为C选项)
Russ: You mean things like thin films on camera displays to make them water-repellent, and additives to make motorcycle helmets stronger and lighter.(“you mean”代表Russ重复解释了一遍C选项,并没有正面肯定这个选项)
Tutor: Exactly. Or another way would be to focus on its impact in one particular area, say medicine, or space exploration.(one particular area代表one field,可以判断导师提出第三个意见为A选项)
Russ: That would make it easier to focus. Perhaps I should do that.(Russ给出正面认同反馈,所以答案选A)
