继上个季度BC给出了Trees这个让人头皮发麻的新题后，本季度BC依然在挑战烤鸭们对自然的认知，今天我们就来看一下Trees的兄弟话题Flowers。
关于花，如果你是一个flower lover, 那么你可能会对花有一些自己独特的理解和感受。但如果你对此并不是很了解，那么我们首先要先积累一些关于花的“知识”。
有人认为花很容易枯萎凋谢they wither easily，而且种花要耗费很多的时间，精力和体力time-consuming, energy-consuming，所以不喜欢养花，或者倾向于买一些干花dried flowers放在家里。但是也有很多人会定期去花市买花go to flower market on a regular basis，甚至在家里种花plant flowers in the flower pot（或者我们也可以说 there’re tubs of flowers一盆盆的花 on the balcony）。 那为什么要养花呢？可能是因为你是个flower enthusiast（爱花者）；可能是flowers are pleasantly scented/ flowers give off pleasant fragrance芳香宜人；可能是they serve us excellent decoration, making our room more elegant and delicate（是一种很好的装饰物件，让我们的房间看起来更优雅精致）；当然也可能是它们的花语（language of flowers）就真还挺美好的~

接下来我们来看一下flowers这个topic下面的几个小问题：
Q1: What kinds of flowers do you know?
思路1：
如果你是一个很喜欢花的人，可以说我是一个flower enthusiast，我知道很多种类的花，比如说A, B and C and so on, 在此之中我最喜欢的花是什么，原因如何。
Actually, I’m a flower enthusiast, so I have a good knowledge of flowers and there’re loads of flowers that I can name, such as camellia, daisy, rose and so on, among which daisy is my all-time-favorite flower since it looks adorable, and stands for innocence and loyal love.
思路2：
如果你不是一个很喜欢花的人，也可以直截了当地说不是很了解花，但即使是这样也不能在这里画上句号，因为我们还是要在考官面前show一下我们的topic-related words。因此我们可以说：
Well, to be honest, I don’t have much knowledge about flowers, but I can still recognize some commonly-seen flowers like rose and lily, which are pleasantly scented and can server as decoration, making our room more elegant and delicate.
Q2: Are there any flowers that have special meanings in China?
这道题可以参考上面的花语，直接举例说明即可。如果想有点中国特色那个味道也可以从我们熟知的花中“四君子”去谈一谈。
Definitely, plum blossom, orchid and chrysanthemum are quite renowned in China, they appeared in ancient poems frequently, as they symbolize certain virtue/positive qualities, such as to be perseverant（坚忍不拔的）, noble and unsullied（高洁的）. That’s also the reason why they are called “junzi” in flowers which means cultivated sagely people.
下面两题就给大家分析下思路，可以尝试着从这样一些角度去思考答案。
Q3: Have you planted any flowers?
Part1中其实会很频繁地出现have you ever done sth? 这类题目，其实思路还是比较简单的，如果你有做过这件事，那么在答案中体现我们常说的5W1H（when, who, where, what, why, how）这几点就可以了。那如果我们没有做过这件事，也可以去解释下为什么没有做过这件事，原因可以从这样几个角度去思考：个人的兴趣爱好，有无时间和精力，这件事本身对你来说麻烦或不好的点在哪等等。
Q4: Have you sent flowers to others?
这题也是属于上面刚刚讲过的题型，那最近刚好过完母亲节，马上可能快到了520，521这样的可以用a bunch of flower秀恩爱的日子，所以，答案其实也是比较简单的了，大家可以尝试一下。
