本月两场考试的task1分别涉及地点和人物话题的考察。关于地点题，看似新颖，实则考察了地点类常见内容，例如选择某个地方，可能是因为事物或者气候，也可能从某地方能够学到某些方面的知识，值得注意的是，今年一月份也出现了地点类三选一的题目。所以地点类常见理由需要运用熟练。而人物类侧重于人物性格特点的考察，推荐采用举例论证的答题方式，此类题需要学生对事情进行细致描述，切记不要硬搬常用理由进行答题。

两场考试的task2分别涉及科技和人生经历话题的考察。科技类话题，我们通常从科技的好处和缺点来发散思路，比如方便或者影响健康。这样此类话题能够快速突破。人生经历类话题需要结合自身经历来回答，建议学生在备考过程中，留意生活细节，同时也可以自己的一些经历准备成英语段子。

TASK 1

With advanced technology, in the future people can live in a new place in which we couldn't live before, which of the following would you like to choose?

A. Ocean surface

B. Moon or mars

C. Extreme cold conditions like polar areas

I prefer the ocean surface with two reasons.

The first reason is I can enjoy different of seafood for free. I like to eat salmon, tuna and lobster. Seafood is nutritious, because it is rich in protein and microelement, and low in fat. By enjoying seafood, I will become healthier.

The second reason is I can have more time to practice swimming. My hometown is far away from the river and sea, so I scarcely have a chance to swim. While living in the new place, I can exercise regularly and refresh my mind.

TASK 2

Elderly people like to play board game or card game，But young people like to play mobile phone games or computer games. Which one do you think is better and why?

I think the first one is better. I have two reasons for this.

The first reason is that it is good for health, especially for eyesight. If you play phone games or computer games, you have to stare at the screen for quite a long time. The radiation and bright flashes of light may impair eyesight for good. You could finally become near-sighted.

The second reason is saving money. People should have phones or computers if they want to play games on them. These electronic devices are expensive. As for young people, like students, they don’t have any jobs or income. By contrast, board games or card games are cheaper and better.

TASK 1

What is your least favorite personality trait of a friend?

I think I dislike selfishness most and here is my personal experience.

When I was a college student, I had a really selfish roommate. I could clearly remember that once I wanted finish term paper in the dormitory because the library was full of students. When I sat at my table and got ready to finish it, my roommate began to play computer games. He was super excited in his games and occasionally shouted for victory. I told him that he should lower his voice. But after a while, he remained the same. I failed to concentrate on my paper. From then on, I dislike selfishness most.

TASK 2

Some people like to make plans in advance when they decide to travel, while others prefer to make decisions when they are travelling. Which do you prefer?

I prefer the second one for two reasons.

The first reason is saving time. Sometimes people will spend a lot of time making the plan. Last year my friends and I planned to travel to Hong Kong. Before the journey, our opinions diverged. One friend thought we should visit Macaw at the same time, and we kept arguing for a whole day. Finally we changed the previous plan.

The second reason is that plans always fall behind changes. Here is another example. If you plan to climb the mountain this morning and it’s going to rain heavily after a while, what are you going to do? Of course you should shelve this plan right now.
